I come from a relaxing life,
And a cozy house,
I come from a city full of adventure,
I come from a home where I watch the sun go down,
And my mother watches it come up,
I come from summers full of friends,
And winters full of family get together’s,
I come from an independent mother of two,
I come from chicken, steak, and rice,
I come from hard work,
And long days,
I come from a life full of quotes,
And a world overjoyed with philosophy,
I say: This is where I come from
