Wonderland

Forget my nightmare of reality
And join me in my world of dreams
Where days seem simpler
My nights are brighter, so they seem

Goblins dance to the sound of flutes
Witches sing enchantingly all through
Where fairy tales are real
Who knew I would be blessed here too?

Mad-Hatter with his party of five
Alice too uptight to laugh at the punch lines
No one can hurt me now
Trisha-Cat is watching me skip about

The sound of shrieks make me shudder
But there's also sounds of playing and laughter
Hostess being Queen of Hearts
Playing games of quidditch in the backyard

Two men: Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum
Play around with their toys and laugh about
Too old to act as kids
But also too chubby to jump around with lots of kick

Continuing to walk down this magical land
Alice has a court day at hand
She'll be leaving soon
No matter how scared, her performance must happen soon
