Summer's Solitude

Smiles dance accross the sand,
While the waves perform the beat,
As they crash amongst the rocks,
fighting against the wind.
The ocean sings the melody,
while the sun plays the harmony,
together they are bound,
together they make magic,
like a thousand shimmering stars,
sparkling diamonds on the shore.
Footprints sink into the sand,
A different face in every heel,
But waves fly and crash,
distorting faces with their might,
the wind freezes the sea,
like winter swollowing the sun,
Footprints change course,
as the golden sun melts into the calm,
painting the clouds with an orange love,
and a crimson bleeding,
blackened despair fills longed for laughter,
while the silver sea streched for enternity,
as the last breath of day is realessed,
and the birds take off into flight,
squaking thoughts through the air,
a sole silhouette stares into the sea,
forever capturing the summer's sweet solitude.
