Find A Way

Find A Way Lies For The Liars;

It's a heart whelming album for me, personally. I couldn't help but write a review for it after listening to it on repeat for hours endlessly in the past few days.

One song sticks out to me, though. That song would be, Find A Way, and that's what I'm going to review here today.

Now, I'm not going to be boring and just list out the lyrics to this wonderful work of art, but I am going to use some reference, of course.

One more time to say I love you always,
and keeping faith letting love find a way...

That is probably the strongest point in this song. I'm not going to get into mushy details about my life, but recently I've felt used, betrayed, heartbroken, you get the deal. I couldn't find it in myself to forgive, no matter how much I felt for that person, it just hurt too much. After hearing these words being sung over and over, drilling into my head for memory I realized, if it's really love that I'm looking for, I just need to have faith, and that's what I did.

Powerful song, don't you think? It's not often you can come across such strong sets of lyrics that can actually help you get through a vivid point in a teenage life.

I love you to death, could you love me to death?

That seems so simple and straight forward, right? Wrong. Most people see that, hear that, and think of it as just a cliche saying of 'I love ____ to death'. Fill in the blank with anything. Now, I, on the other hand, look at that as wedding vows. I could be wrong as to what The Used meant to put across, but this is just my personal feelings.

'Till Death Do Us Part' is usually a part of a wedding, and well, when I first heard those lyrics that's the first thing I thought about, which in turn made me think of commitment. Which once again brought me back to the matter of love. If it really is love, then commitment is needed.

The entire set of lyrics to this song seems pretty straight forward, wouldn't you agree? Well, sometimes It just takes a bit of straight forwardness to snap you back to reality, and that's what The Used's new album did for me.
