The All-American Rejects - When The World Comes Down
To start off this review, I'd just like to say that like every other huge Rejects fan, I've been waiting for a new album for what seems like such a long time. After the date was changed for the release a bunch of times, I though I might be disappointed with the album, but here I am contradicting my earlier thoughts.
Tuesday, December 16, 2008, The All-American Rejects released their new album, When When The World Comes Down. Personally, I think the Rejects are at their height. The album starts off strong, with the song I Wanna. This song is practically perfect for opening up an album with, it's not too fast or too slow, it has just the right beat and it's so catchy.
Following up with the songs Fallin' Apart, Damn Girl, and Gives You Hell, the album's lyrics get stronger and strogner, especially in Damn Girl, with the lyrics "I’m like your victim and all that you need is an alibi."
Breakin', Another Heart Calls, Real World, and Back To Me lead to a part of the album that I think has a lot of heart put into it. The lyrics and rhythm are perfect and soothing.
The last three tracks, Believe, The Wind Blows, and Sunshine are probably my three favorite songs on the album. Believe is a catchy song, with amazing lyrics, and is personally my number one favorite song on the album. The Wind Blows and Sunshine are such sweet songs, they have lyrics that mean so much to me.
The All-American Rejects definatly hit it out of the park with this album. Any sensible Rejects fan would say that the Rejects are once again back on track.
"I hope you sleep in a perfect memory..."
