Marilyn Manson - Eat Me, Drink Me

Marilyn Manson - Eat Me, Drink Me Eat Me, Drink Me is an 11 track album. Manson explains that to him the best way to die is to have someone you love devour you, but also said: "I don't plan on being eaten anytime soon". The album starts off with the epic 'If I was your vampire'. It is the darkest love song I have ever heard.

The sound is amazing and it creates an atmosphere that is almost like a movie, it plays out on your mind. Starts off with a powerful show of Manson's voice "6am Christmas morning, no shadows no reflections here lying cheek to cheek in your cold embrace".

Another great track of the album is the first single 'Heart-shaped Glasses'. A Lolita reference of the heart shaped glasses. This song is amazing has great sound and rhythm not found in many songs today, and lyrics to back it up.

"She reminds me of the one in school when I was cutting she was dressed in white,
I couldn't take my eyes off her but that's not what I took off that night".

The controversial music video has not aired on TV as of yet. It starts off with Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood in a sex scene, although there is no nudity it was censored and should air soon. The album's second single 'Putting Holes In Happiness' , it is a powerful song, nothing less do we expect from the King of rock and shock. The music video for Putting Holes In Happiness is not scheduled to air yet. Eat Me, Drink Me, Manson's newest record is a must-have.

I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Love is more powerful than hate, Manson has showed us that with this album.
