The Eagles - Long Road Out of Eden
Today I drove to my local Wal-mart and bought The Eagles’ new album Long Road Out of Eden. As with most of their other albums, both CDs are chock-full with emotion, great lyrics, and awesome guitar riffs. Although it sounds much different than their old albums, it is still completely amazing. After listening to the album, sat on my computer chair in dead silence, just thinking about the amazing sensation the album left on my heart. There is roughly 94 minutes (on both CDs combined) filled to the brim with tough lyrics, in which only The Eagles can pull off.
All in all, there are 20 songs. 11 songs on CD 1 and 9 songs on CD 2, one of which is 10 minutes and 17 seconds long with a ballad-type sound. It is as though they are showing off their guitars and boasting their vocals on the path of harsh living with a depraved view that only comes from knowing each road and path personally.
From hit song Desperado to Hotel California, The Eagles have still got it in them to make an absolutely outstanding album, three years after their single Hole in the World. I believe that this album, with such amazing lyrics and music, is able to touch anyone, and everyone on the face of this planet.
