Dance or Die With a Vengeance
Dance or Die with a Vengeance is the first remix album from the Christian influenced, crunk-rockers, Family Force 5. The album came out on May 19.
This album is a masterpiece in itself. I enjoy music that I can really dance to. Family Force 5 is, alone, one of those bands. But this album steps it up a notch, adding more funky beats and danceable remixes.
The band had some help from various remix masters, including: The Secret Handshake, Sean Foreman of 3OH!3, Danger Radio, Jasen Rauch of Red, Matt Thiessen of Relient K, David Crowder of David Crowder Band, Alex Suarez of Cobra Starship, and Lauren Olds, Solomon’s (Soul Glow Activator’s) wife.
Though a Christian band, a like their albums before, there doesn’t seem to be a definite focus on God. But Christian music connoisseurs seem to love the band’s electro music anyway.
Two singles have been released from this album so far; “The First Time (Matt Theiseen from Relient K Remix),” and “Get Your Back Off the Wall (Sean from 3OH!3 remix).”
If you enjoy rocking out to electropunk, I suggest you buy this album.
As for song selection, I suggest “Get Your Back Off the Wall (Sean from 3OH!3 remix),” “Party Foul (Sami D's UVS Remix),” and “Wake the Dead (Lalipop Remix).”
