Lovely review Angel. Fiction is my favourite song on the album because it's where we hear The Rev sing for the very last time. I plan to get that song played at my funeral when I pass away. It's an amazing CD it's incredibly different to their past albums but, it still screams Avenged Sevenfold to me.

I like your review. I disagree with your opinion on Tonight the World Dies, but hey! That's what you think. (:
I LOVE NIGHTMARE. The album is fantastic.

I read somewhere that Fiction was originally going to be for Pinkly Smooth. Brian and Jimmy's side project. I'm glad Brian chose to do it with Avenged Sevenfold though. I think his and Matt's voices together are absolutely brilliant. It's by far my favorite song on that album and now my all time favorite from Avenged Sevenfold. Second Heartbeat from Waking the Fallen coming in a close second as it was my first favorite by them.

I got the Nightmare Deluxe Edition album on iTunes and it came with a song that better suited the ending than Save Me. And I agree, Save Me is just far too long and I have yet to be able to get through the whole thing. However, Lost It All, I feel is a better conclusion song than Fiction would have been. Save Me should have been somewhere else in the album that way Fiction could be a great transition into the not-on-the-album track, Lost It All, much better than Save Me.

Other than that, great article and I agree with pretty much all of it. =]

Amazing article. I agree with pretty much everything that you said. I cried so hard when listening to 'So Far Away' and 'Fiction' even 'Victim" Such amazing songs. Can't get enough. And also in the booklet when they're all sitting at the bar, theirs an beer and empty chair with The Rev's A7X jacket. <3 foREVer

great article. I love the cd and Fiction is my favorite song : ] and I thought I'd let you know that the Rev DOES sing in Fiction. : ] I think he did some singing before he died and the band wanted to put it in the song.

This is a really good review and in the whole i completly agree with everything that you've said. The only thing i didn't agree on was about tonight the world dies, but that's just my opinion.
The guys did a really great job on this album and i think it was an amazing way for us to all say our final goodbyes to Jimmy. He'll be remembered foREVer :)

My favorite songs are probably danger line I almost cried when I was listening to that and so far away. I love the video for nightmare the ending is so eerie and heartwrenching with the drums. In save me I agree it drags on but lyrics are really good, but i also like welcome to the family its really catchy, this was a well done review and R.I.P Jimmy "the Rev" Sullivan you will forever be in our hearts
