Chameleon Circuit's Still Got Legs

Still Got Legs, released July 2011, is the second album of Chameleon Circuit, a band that writes songs about the popular TV series Doctor Who.

The band is comprised of YouTubers Alex Day, Charlie Mcdonnell, Liam Dryden, and new members Michael Aranda and Edd 'Eddplant' Blann, and is named after a malfuctioning piece of the TARDIS.

The fifteen-track album features songs in the genre of Trock, or Time Lord rock. While many of the songs are based around specific Doctor Who episodes (such as "Kiss the Girl", based around the series five episode The Lodger), others focus on the show's characters (such as "Mr. Pond", which is about Rory Williams). The title Still Got Legs is taken from the first line of the Eleventh doctor.

Most of the members take turns in singing, providing a wide range of voices that work together well. The songs manage to capture the essence of Doctor Who; "Big Bang Two" shows the quirkiness of the show with the line "Oh my God, he's wearing a fez!", while "Travelling Man"provides a thoughtful overview of the Doctor as a whole.

Although many of the songs focus on the Eleventh Doctor, several focus on the Tenth Doctor, such as "The Sound of Drums", while others, like "Regenerate Me", could apply to any doctor.

Overall, Still Got Legs is a highly enjoyable album that both Whovians and non-Whovians can listen to.
