Hi! Now, whilst I didn't agree with your review at all, I thought it was intelligent, made it's point and well written.

I don't get why people don't understand that a review is an opinion, and I wasn't aware that there was some rule that meant everyone had to think the same thing!

Thank you for your review, it's sharp and interesting, and you have done an excellent job at using the lyrics for analysis, and offering evidence to support your points.

...Not everyone has to like the same things the way you do, guys.

Hmm, Well being a used fan myself, of couse im not going to agree, but bert is NOT whiney, if you want whiney listen to simple plan with their "my life is so bad" shit, the used write about more important things, and they have matured so much so obviously their music isn't going to sound the same, every band changes so does their music, they cant stay the same forever, and as much as i respect your review i think that the used have remained who they were when they wrote their first album they have just matured and not to mention bert has had throat problems hence the lack of screaming in some of their songs, but its a nice change and i think they deserve heaps of credit.

I find it hard to agree with most of the things you've said - of course you're allowed to have your own opinion and such and I respect this.
But I feel that they have grown and gone through a lot as a band now and their music shows this, true it is nothing like their first album but I'm glad it isn't. All of their music takes long hard work and I also highly respect this - so if I were the one writing a review I would point out the positive more than the negative.

But then again I am up there in The Used's biggest and longest fans who obviously doesn't want to admit they're making crap music - don't get me wrong I do not think any of their music is crap - but I'm sick of these reviews.

Give them a break - try and do what they've done then I might take you seriously.
It's good to know your point of view though :)

Great review. I like somebody who is actually honest enough to admit they were disappointed in some aspects of songs, yet still sees the potential. I'm gunna buy this.

Hm... I do agree, I love The Used, and they seemed to maybe have used up their lovely scream, for a somewhat boybandish trait. This is a wicked good review.
