It's Time You Just Realize

It's Time You Just Realize Colbie has had many inspirations since she was young and is ready to channel them into her own style and success.

Colbie was born in Malibu, CA. She grew up there and also spent some time in Ventura County. She began singing at a very young age, and was always getting up early in the morning to do so.. Her parents even gave her the nickname, "little bird." When she was just a girl, she did not play the guitar, she actually played the piano. When Caillat was only fifteen, she met a man named Michael Blue. He helped her perfect her voice and strengthen other talents that she had.

When Colbie learned how to play the guitar at the late age of 19, she decided to make a website of her own. It was visited so many times, The Rolling Stone named her the number one unsigned artist . She stayed at that number one spot for quite a while, four months to be exact. At 21, Caillat started to become more and more popular and finally was a signed artist.

Colbie had gotten many inspirations form her surroundings. She loves the fresh outdoors and the beach. She tries to incorporate that type of setting into most of her songs. She likes to be simple, and many of her songs represent that. Her recent and first album, Coco, has reflected her refreshing and gentle way of music that I enjoy very much. Her most popular song at this time is "Realize," and just a few months ago, it was another familiar song, "Bubbly." One of Caillat's favorites is "Tailor Made," which is about her sister finding love.

I enjoy listening to Colbie's music, especially when I am stressed and I want to relax. Her music always gives me a nice, warm feeling that brings me back to earth so I can focus myself. Her simple and humble flow of music is what is making her famous. That is well as her pretty face and great personality! I listen to Caillat's music when I am in my room reading a book, or just laying and relaxing. My favorite songs of hers are "Oxygen" and "The Little Things." I love her laid-back style of music and definitely recommend it to all.

I hope that I have explained why I think Colbie Caillat is a very good and talented musician. I enjoy her music, as I hope you will, too. I chose her music because I thought it was the kind of music that I enjoy listening too. It is a pleasure to listen to, and at the same time relaxing and soothing. Colbie definitely inspires me to remember to be cool at times when I might be stressed or worried, and to just calm down.

Caillat once said, "In the past few months I've been preparing myself for this crazy adventure. I know many challenges and frustrations lay ahead, and I am going to learn a lot. But if I can come home with some great new songs, amazing experiences, and some new friends, it will all be worth it".
