Hail The Villain - Windsor Ontario 8/14/09

Hail The Villain - Windsor Ontario 8/14/09 It started with a small crowd, waiting in the heated sun for the well known Canadian band, Finger Eleven, when their opening band Hail The Villain struck the audience with a sudden chill, as lead singer Bryan Crouch approached the stage.

No one cared about them, no one knew who they were. But by the time everyone left, they were all anyone could talk about. They opened with one of their many songs off their album, Population: Declining, Take Back My Fear.

The second guitarist, Joseph Stamp started playing the heavy intro, every teenager found a new respect for the band.

Although, most parents who were sitting in the back, the only reason for their presence being that they would rather not leave their 15 year old child alone at a rock concert, snickered and scowled at their dark and heavy themed music, I knew that these boys would make it big.

They went through the concert, Bryan holding a microphone designed to look like a cigar, and Drew Dockril, their drummer, only left in his plaid boxers closing with my personal favorite song, My Reward.

The whole band is absolutely full of energy, and a definite crowd pleaser. Although every person was there to see Finger Eleven, they were nothing compared to these Ontario rockers.
