As Cobus himself also states, it is quite hard to believe that his success started with videos on Youtube, then two years later his journey began, and now it’s six more years down the line and he still plays with the same passion that made him pick up his first set of drumsticks.

To pinpoint his drumming style would be a difficult task to do, since his ‘covers' range from Kelly Clarkson to Avenged Sevenfold, but with every song he plays, his own person twist is added to makes the song his own - his interpretations of the songs are both energetic and technical, he does not stick to the basic rhythm of song, he creates a new one - by force if necessary.
