Seven More Years For Rachel

Seven More Years For Rachel In 2008, five friends from southern Arkansas came together, creating a sound that seemed to rattle the hearts of those who heard it. What at first was just a playful, just-for-fun thing they did together, soon turned into something that the girls expressed theirselves out of for God and music that their hearts spoke out to them.

The band, Seven More Years For Rachel, is made up of a lead vocalist/guitarist/write named Lauren Schwaesdall, Emily Tucker as the red-headed keyboard player, Mary Jane Peircer as a vocalist, the cello played by Emily's older sister, Julie, and another vocalist/guitarist/harmonica player named Allison Peirce.

Seven More Years For Rachel's first album came out January 2009 with seven songs that they were all very excited to release. To help encourage themselves, they took wise words from a friend that said: "If you just can't seem to help but do it, its probably what you were meant to do!" Taking that to heart, the girls created music that not only originated from their own hearts and minds, but also shone a light into the hearts of the people who hear them.

Lauren wrote that there were two parts to the band:
1) Worship for Treasures Possession Ministries.
2) Original music we play for well, anyone!
