Foxboro Hot Tubs

Foxboro Hot Tubs The internationally known band Green Day has formed a new band entitled the Foxboro Hot Tubs. The band still has the trio Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Drint, and Tre Cool, and new comers Jason White, Jason Freese and Kevin Preston. Foxboro Hot Tubs has the familiar sound of Mike Drint and Tre Cool on the drums and of course Billie Joe's vocals.

The sound of Foxboro Hot Tubs is influenced by such bands as The Stooges, Iggy Pop, The Kinks, The Smiths and many other successful bands. the sound of the band itself is a somewhat sixties essence with garage.

The first track from them is entitled Stop, Drop and Roll! posted on December 8th the website brought in many new fans and the song became downloadable. Soon it was taken off the site and more were added on, now fans are unable to download but can still enjoy. One of FoxBoro's singles made it on the alternative rock top, Mother Mary, my favorite, charting to number sixteen. The whole album includes twelve songs, including the two singles.

Foxboro Hot Tubs was an actual place for the band members, said in an email to MTV, quoted, "The Foxboro Hot Tubs were a place we used to sneak booze and chicks into late at night. But most of the time it was just 'dude soup'. " The name of 'Green Day' came from something the bands members enjoyed or did in their past, the name Green Day is from the color of marijuana, being green, and how they loved to smoke the hallucinogens.
