Grim Tuesday

Grim Tuesday I disagree with the praise on the front of the novel. Grim Tuesday was an improvement on Mister Monday, but I would not call it "Awesome". The plot was still predictable and seemed to follow a very similar structure to the first book, which made it somewhat boring.

Grim Tuesday follows on from Mister Monday, when Arthur receives a call off the Will eight hours after his return to Earth. When two Grotesques appear outside Arthur’s house he becomes aware of the danger he and his loved ones are in. Fearing for his family and friends Arthur returns to the house, but instead of loitering in the Lower House like he did on Monday, Arthur is forced to the far reaches to take on Grim Tuesday, the second trustee and to free part two of the Will of the Architect. He is joined, yet again by Suzy Turquoise Blue, probably the best character in the series because of her attitude.

With a journey into a sun, and the introduction of the Architects second son, The Mariner, the pair manage to uncover the hidden part of the Will but then they come face to face with the Grim, and know they’ll have to face him and pray their luck doesn’t run out.

In the Far Reaches the pair encounter the Grim’s creations, for he is an artist of great talent and is only lacking individuality, which proves to be his downfall...
