Twilight

Twilight Twilight is the first gripping novel in a trilogy and the wonderful debut by Stephenie Meyer. The story follows a regular teenage girl named Isabella Swan - who prefers to be called Bella - as she moves away from a fast-pace life in Phoenix with her mother to a more slowed-down, wetter, life in Forks with her father.

At her new school, Bella is warmly welcomed by her classmates and she soon makes friends. She also does well in her classes. But there is a group of five beautiful students that she sees in the cafeteria - that never eat - whom she finds intriguing, one of which is a certain mysterious, amazingly good-looking Edward Cullen. After a few bad starts, the two fall in head over heels in love. As they become closer, Bella finally learns Edward's dark secret - he is a vampire, part of a family of vampires who have renounced human prey.

Tension builds as a group of tracker vampires comes across Bella, who are determined to have her. Will Edward and his family be enough to protect Bella?

In this exciting, compelling and gripping story, Twilight is a believable love story that will have you hooked from first page to last.
