Mhmm, I'm inclined to disagree with you there, this is Frost after all. When you take the poem merely at face value, you miss out on the true substance and meaning. The character is enticed by the woods, and he knows he shouldn't be stopping (even his horse does) yet he does anyways which is sort of symbolic of the struggle between the responsibilities we have and the things we'd like to do. When you put that idea in context with the fact that the woods are isolated, and outside the village, the woods seem to symbolize the realm outside of society and civilization and things we'd like explore.

The last two lines of the poem seem to signify curiosity, he's got "miles and miles" to go, or more figuratively there are many, many things to see in his lifetime and he doesn't want to waste time doing what the village outside the woods thinks is acceptable.
