Unwind Filled to the brim of a horrifying society where unwanted children below the age of eighteen are seized for their body parts, Unwind is a three hundred thirty-five page book that, once you begin reading, you cannot stop. In a rigorous turn of events, three runaway teenagers are brought together not by the events of their past, but the terrifying reality of their future as each are condemned to unwinding.

Connor is a troublemaker. After being in and out of disciplinary school and the shortness of his temper, his parents are fed up. In order to right the wrongs in Connor's life, they end this madness he's gotten himself into by signing the Unwind order. Risa, a ward of the state as she doesn't have any parents, lives in a state home where the capacity of orphaned children is filling up fast. In order to resolve this problem, the Headmaster is transferring her to the local harvest camp. Lev has been marked for unwinding since day one. He is aware of and accepts this fact because of his religious background. Only after his journey will he realize the gruesome truth of what his family has brainwashed him into thinking was beneficial sacrifice.

Once the three are on their own, they're confronted with the difficult task of avoiding the police which leads them to multiple safe houses designated for potential unwinds, and ultimately, The Graveyard. Read along as Connor, Risa, and Lev are forced to cope with bothersome enemies, reconstruct the bonds of friendship, face internal conflicts, and finally beat the unwinding system. They are creating a better world, piece by piece.
