The Child Called It The New Series, "A Child Called It" is spreading like wild fire. Adults and teenagers are reading it all over America. This book showing the life of , David Pelzer really shows everyone that they do not have a bad life.

The series includes, "A child Called It", "The Lost Boy", "A Man Names Dave", "The Privilege of youth", "Help Yourself", "Help for Your Teens". When you read this story it shows you that Child abuse is real and it does happen a lot.

The book starts off and it tells you how a child named, "David" has to go through life. Every day he gets beaten by his mother, not fed, and neglected intentionally. David gets made fun of at school because of his clothes and he doesn't live a normal life.

Throughout the book, David is afraid to report his mother because he doesn't want to be killed and deep in his heart he still loves her. The book shows how much he does really care about her and shows that he doesn't blame it on her. He uses the ,"I" statement continuously.

In the second book, David finally gets taken from him mother by DCF and he is put into several foster homes. When he goes throughout trials against his mother, he is diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) Which is a disease many people get when they have been through several traumatic events. David gets flash backs and soon cannot stand his life.

"The Child Called It" has been voted the most detailed book in the series. Although the books do loose detail, you will not notice because it is so heartwarming. This autobiography will turn your heart and most everyone who has read this book, has sprung a tear.
