The Seer and the Sword

The Seer and the Sword The Seer and the Sword is written by an excellent author, Victoria Hanley. She has written several other books, but by far, this is the most adventurous, and the most interesting.

Summary

Princess Torina has a peaceful life in the Kingdom of Archeld. Then one day her father, King Kareed, captures the kingdom of Bellandra and its legendary sword, which could kill any enemy.

On his return, he offers Torina two gifts: a beautiful crystal and the defeated king's son, Landen, as a slave.

She sets Landen free, and the two become close friends. He teaches her archery while she teaches him how to love.
As for the crystal ball; Torina finds out that she is a seer, and can see the future using the crystal.

But in Archeld there is greed and revenge, and even plans to kill King Kareed. Soon, someone kills him and everybody thinks Landen did it; but Torina won't believe he would harm her or her family. Can she use her new found powers to save her kingdom?

In my opinion, this book is one of the best I have read. Her description she uses are very precise, not to mention beautiful, and one can hold the book and read the pages of this adoring book for a whole day.
