Bleed by Laurise Faria Stolarz
From the author that brought you the series Blue is for Nightmares Laurie Faria Stolarz has a new book out entitled Bleed. If found in a bookstore or library this book could be mistaken for a death fiction, but it is anything but that.
Stolarz has written of ten different teenagers that encounter many problems that other teens seem to get themselves into. So each chapter is a different point of view of each of the teens. Most of the story's setting takes place in the authors home town of Salem, Massachusetts. But some of the teenagers stories take place on the other side of the country in California.
When I found this in my local bookstore, I found the cover very interesting, so, I began to read the story and before I knew it I finished the literature within two days. I found the book to be both funny and quite bittersweet with the outcomes of the problems the teens had had.
The book is entitled Bleed because at the end of each point of view the character starts to bleed either from being hurt, or a tight shoe, or even cutting one's self.
I recommend reading this book, especially if you are in your teens yourself. But if by rating this story would motivate you to read, I'd have to say a nine out of ten
