Annihilation of Foreverland

Lately, I’ve been having trouble motivating myself to start reading books. I’d been chalking it up to swimming and the summer weather, but when I began my fifteen hour car ride to a vacation spot in Myrtle Beach, I really had no choice but to begin reading again. Fortunately, before I left, I had purchased a copy of Annihilation of Foreverland on my Kindle. Annihilation of Foreverland is a novel written by Tony Bertauski that was published in 2011.

The novel started off with a bang by introducing one of the story’s main characters and the suffering he was going through. Within the first chapter, the novel had introduced so many elements of mystery and unanswered questions that I was unable to put it down. From the beginning to the end, Annihilation of Foreverland didn’t have a dull moment. The plot was constantly moving forward and introducing new mysteries. Bertauski answered all the right questions at the right times while introducing new ones sentences later. The many different plot twists made the story very interesting and easy to read.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read young adult science fiction without any of the romance. Overall, I give it 8 out of 10 stars for having an interesting plot and strong, well-developed characters.
