Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Will Grayson is a seventeen year old dedicated to a life of Shutting Up and Not Caring while having to put up with his enormously gay and gaily enormous friend Tiny Cooper, who never stops talking and who cares about everything.

Will Grayson is also a seventeen year old coping with depression and a parasitic friendship with classmate Maura, and in love with a boy on the internet dealing.

The two teenagers, both with the same name, meet by chance in a seedy corner of Chicago, a meeting that will alter their lives.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson is an entertaining novel by best-selling Young Adult authors John Green and David Levithan that explores love and sexuality in a way that feels refreshingly honest. Both authors provide relatable characters and a gripping narrative in their story is about two boys finding their roles in life, in love, and in the most fabulous musical ever to take place on a high school stage.

The chapters are divided into each Will's perspective, giving the reader a clear insight into their life. Although Levinthan's narrative takes more time to get used to - his protagonist uses no capitals, a stylistic choice to reflect how he views himself as a 'lower case' - both narratives flow smoothly into each other to provide an extremely enjoyable book.
