Kurt Cobain: Journals

Kurt Cobain: Journals Before his death, Kurt Cobain always wrote on any piece of scratch paper he could get his hands on. He wrote letters to members of other bands, made up stories and drew comic strips, song lyrics, plans for music videos, and wrote notes to his wife, Courtney Love.

This book is filled with twenty or so of his notebooks filled with his writings and drawings. They are scanned, so it is his handwriting that the reader is staring at. Some words are slightly hard to decipher at first, but once you get the hang of it, his handwriting isn't that hard to understand.

The book's description on the inside is;

Kurt Cobain filled dozens of notebooks with lyrics, drawings, and writings about his plans for Nirvana and his thoughts about fame, the state of music, and the people who bought and sold him and his music. More than twenty of these notebooks survived his many moves and travels, and have been locked in a safe since his death. His journals reveal an artist who loved music, who knew the history of rock, and who was determined to define his place in that history. Here is a mesmerizing, incomparable portrait of the most influential musician of his time.

When this book is opened, it will be so engaging that the reader will want to read it cover to cover.

When I first saw, it, it wasn't really the book I was looking for, but, since I refuse to read Heavier Than Heaven (because of my own personal opinion), I decided that while I wait for the other book I bought online to come in the mail, I would read this. It was far, far more interesting than I imagined it would be.

Look through my things, and figure me out.
