    Ugh. I don't think I'll be reading this. From your review I feel like it ruins my perception of my favorite female X-Men character (Gambit being my favorite male). Rogue is such a strong character, both physically and mentally. Like you said, she wasn't dependent on a guy, she wanted Gambit not needed him, and this goes against who she is.

    Besides, Gambit and Rogue will ALWAYS be my favorite couple...ever.

    I think that for people who had never read the comics and have just seen the movies, then it would be for them. Personally, I have never read the comics but that's just because I'm not a comics kind of person but when I was younger, I did watch the X-Men Evolution and was kind of disappointed when Rogue wasn't as independent in the trilogy as she was in the cartoon.

    It's a nice thought that I think the author was trying to grasp. Living a relationship without being able to touch but from what it sounds, she didn't portray it right.
