    Hey, thanks for commenting!

I do agree that its similar to Twilight, but I like books like that. I've read all of them and I can agree that the crazy obsession with having to sleep together gets old, but it's what the goal of the series is, I guess. Ya know, to live happily ever after?

I am just now putting two and two together, with the red head (Victoria) in Twilight and also the person (Drina) out to kill Ever is a red head... I don't think Alyson Noel set out to copy the Twilight Saga, but there is no denying that they're similar.

Alyson Noel has a book from Ever's sisters, Riley's point of view. I started that the other day.

I'm just drawn to books like this. Like the Twilight Saga, The Immortal Series and I was in love with The House of Night series. It's just the type of story line I love.

    Thanks for the input!

    Hey! Nicely written.

I have to respectfully bring in some debate about this book, although I liked most of it, the story was very similar to a Edward/Bella set up. The age difference (him being ancient and her being newly born), the aura changes around the love interest (Bella's aura and Edward's mind reading only being silenced to her), and then an obsession with a random Jane Austen book (was it Wuthering Heights?). Of course he's the only one to teach her about these powers, and this new world and he consumes a certain type of drink (just like edward) that happens to not harm anyone, but at the same time isn't normal food. There's a bloodthirsty crazy killer woman after them (The redhead from twlight) and the obssession with sleeping with each other completely overshadows any logical or interesting ploy (later books for both...). And did I mention the random leaving the main character for no reason that leads to horrible depression in both Ever and Bella? (Edward in new moon).

These are some of the similarities I see. I actually stopped reading Ever Series when I got to the second book (The title is verrrry similar to New Moon) because I had a feeling it was going to be very similar to Twilight. I'm not going to lie and say I hated twilight right away. I liked it for sure, but the later obsession with sleeping together and the too crazy fandom pushed me far away! :P

Also, the plot turned from being about normal people to a crazy gigantic fantasy world waaaay too quickly in Ever and I couldn't quite keep up with it. Although the author had some good points about her missing her sister, that was really heartfelt, but I didn't understand how she could keep pushing her away...

    Anyways what do you think?
