Slawter

Slawter, the third book in Darren Shan’s Demonata series and is set a year after the events that occurred in Lord Loss.

After his return from the Demonata, Dervish’s mental health is in a poor state; his haunting nightmares are causing him to do strange things, including attacking Grubbs while he sleeps. Shortly after the book begins Dervish is offered a job by the famous horror producer Davida Haym, to work on the set of her new movie ‘Slawter’; a movie all about Demons. Dervish accepts the job, under the understanding it could help restore his sanity.

On the set, Grubbs and Bill-E get to meet the cast and crew and befriend a psychologist named Juni Swan. The pair discover treachery is afoot, and though they cannot convince Dervish of this, they convince Juni; only to be ridiculed when they make these ideas public.

Then, to the disbelief of the others, Davida releases her Demons, and yet again Dervish and Grubbs are left to face the with the wicked Demon Master; Lord Loss…

This book is filled with intricate plot twists that are so unpredictable, it tops both Lord Loss and Demon Thief and leaves the reader hungry for more.
