The Black Parade Is Dead!

The Black Parade Is Dead! The album The Black Parade [October 24 2006 - July 1 2008] which has been a huge success for the band My Chemical Romance has been declared dead on July 1st by its creators. The album which contained songs such as Dead!, Welcome to the Black Parade, I Don't Love You, House of Wolves, Cancer, Mama, Teenagers, Disenchanted, and Famous Last Words was an album loved by fans.

The Black Parade Is Dead! was released on July 1st to sort of end the The Black Parade. The live DVD and CD filmed in Mexico City, Mexico and Hoboken, New Jersey holds two brilliantly filmed concerts showing the end of MCR's The Black Parade. The CD only covers the songs from the Mexico concert, but the DVD goes on to show the Hoboken charity concert which is also brilliantly filmed.

The DVD shows the way MCR can handle the crowd, and the way they change when they're away from New Jersey. It starts off with Mexico with the boys back stage walking to the stage area, high-fiving each other and starting the concert. There they are very conservative, and very energetic, but it's nothing to the concert shown second in Jersey. There the boys are seen jamming their hearts out and their attitudes seem to change: Gerard's especially. It's amazing to watch the differences between the concerts as they perform the songs they love.

The Black Parade Is Dead! is a wonderfully shot DVD and the CD is just as good. They're both an excellent addition to the My Chemical Romance music library and is something I know I will cherish forever as a survivor of the Black Parade. In my personal opinion it gets a for sure 5/5.

So as Gerard says at the end of the Mexico concert, "The Black Parade is dead!"
