Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II This is a game that many faithful Star Wars fans have been awaiting for a while. The Force Unleashed 2 is essensially a game where the player goes through the storyline wondering if the apprentice is real or if he is a clone.

In the Force Unleashed 1 the apprentice dies and there many hints thrown forward that he is a clone but through the whole game, it is never clear. Playing through the game I noticed significant changes to the combat system, the targeting for example is top notch, it is controlled by the way you face and not whatever it wanted to do in number 1.

Lucasarts have added a few decent new force powers, like mind trick for example, this makes the enemy commit suicide. The game's graphics are pretty decent but nothing special, the cutscenes look so much better and the overall gameplay looks vibrant.

Unfortunatley the storyline was poor to me. The two characters that I was looking forward to be included; Boba Fett and Yoda, they had a stupid ammount of screentime, between them they are on the screen abount a minuite, the decision to only have them for a minuite is frightfully bad.

The game has a good feature even if the storyline is bad, you unlock more cutscenes as you play the game on higher difficulties and again the game has a light ending and a dark ending.
The dual light saber feature is effective and often a nice experience.

My overall rating: 5/10
