Assassin's Creed II: Brotherhood

Assassin’s Creed II: Brotherhood was released in 2010 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 as basically the second game in the Ezio Trilogy. The story is set between the 16th and 21st centuries and the main portion of this game picks up from right where we were left hanging in Assassin’s Creed II.

Plot

Ezio’s story picks up from the time in which he leaves the vault from the end of Assassin’s Creed II while being utterly confused by the odd message he had received which was indirectly pointed towards Desmond. Soon after leaving does Ezio escape Rome with his uncle only to return home and have his authority challenged by surrounding members of the Brotherhood.

Of course, to get his plans up and running once more does Ezio find ways to cripple the Borgia’s existence over the next four years while sabotaging Cesare’s resources and assassinating key people that were close to or working with him. While doing this does Ezio also help Rome come to turns with its former glory and power.

Overall

While Altair will always be my absolute favorite, in Brotherhood I feel like I was able to have a bit more of Ezio and maybe develop a new crush. Comparing Ezio to the way he was in the first part of the trilogy is absolutely impossible as you see the way he has matured from the start of when the Borgia had torn his family apart.

Only to seek revenge does Ezio go to all these lengths. I also love the way Brotherhood picks up from the end of Assassin’s Creed II almost immediately and the plotline is absolutely flawless as always. I was very thrilled in playing this game as it was seriously hard to tear my eyes away from the screen.

Plus, all the twists and turns within this game not only fries by brain but makes me crave more.
