10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You "I hate the way you talk to me. And the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare I hate your big dumb combat boots. And the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick-- it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh -- even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that you're not around. And the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - - not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all."

Anyone who's seen the movie "10 Things I Hate About You" starring the Late Heath Ledger, and Julia Stiles, knows that sonnet. In that passage, she's referring to Patrick Verona, her boyfriend in the movie, who originally was payed to take her out as a ploy from another guy, to take her sister out.

Confused? Here's the back story.

In the very begging, we meet "The Shrew" A.K.A. Kat Stratford (Stiles), she's a militant, bitchy, hard-ass woman, who's appealed to no-one in her school-Padua High-and is appealing to no one.

At the same time, we see Cameron, a so called, "Army Brat" who's new to the school, his new-friend Michael Ehkman, as played by David Krumholtz. He's an AV geek and former MBA-He was kicked out because of a member-Bogie Lowenstein-who told everyone he bought his IZOD's at an outlet mall.

Ehkman, takes him through the cliques at his school, Jocks, Coffee kids, White Rastas-Semi Political, but mostly smoke a lot of weed- and of course, Joey-eat me-Donner. (Andrew Keegan) A model, popular, and a down-right douche bag.

And then comes Bianca Stratford-The Angelically beautiful teenager, Junior to her sister by two years. Who Joey wants to nail-he makes a bet with one of his friends he'll do it by prom.

But Cameron, who's madly and purely in love with Bianca, figures out a plan to date her-without Joey "getting" to her first. He finds out that Bianca's dad, a big on no dating until they've graduated, has finally let her date-when he gets Kat to.

So He thinks up a plan. Get Joey to pay someone to take out Kat-so he can have Bianca. But what Joey doesn't know is that Cameron is using him for a pawn, so he himself can get close to Bianca and hopefully go out with her.

Joey enlists the help of the schools "Bad-boy" Patrick Verona (Ledger) someone who's willing to be paid for it (at a high price) and someone who's not afraid of The shrew.

What ensues is great laughs and cries you'll never forget, this comedy is sweet, sassy and very very classy. Shakespeare would be mighty proud. I'd say more, but I'd just be giving the end away-and that would be one thing you'd hate about me!
