The Dark Knight: Best Selling Movie in 2008?

The Dark Knight: Best Selling Movie in 2008? The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, is the latest remake of the Batman series, and a mind blowing movie for all of the DC Comic fans. This movie is an eye opener to people everywhere. There are many good actors in this movie, and in my opinion, The Darl Knight surpasses Batman Begins by a long shot.

The first time I saw this movie, which was sometime around July 28, I was very excited, it was the new thing people had to see. I walked into Hollywood Cinemas 16, and sat down in the middle of the huge theater room. I was watching the previews, and my friend had mentioned that Heath Ledger was the role of the Joker, which completely shocked me, and made me feel a bit stupid, but knowing that the Joker was being played by such an awesome actor made me even more stoked.

The Joker is probably one of the main reasons why I like this movie. I love how smart, and tricky he is. How he can get away with stealing 68 million dollars from a mob bank. The plot is very thought out, and it can just take a hold of you and draw you in, wanting more. Everything that every character does is just mind blowing, which is an opposite effect on me for Batman Begins.

The prequel to this movie just didn't catch a hold of me as much as The Dark Knight. There was, of course, no Joker in the first, but I did gain a lot of respect for Batman from that movie. It sucked that people who helped him through out his life had turned on him, but I just think that the movie didn't have as much interest as The Dark Knight.

Some people only like The Dark Knight so much because of the fact that it was the last movie that was completed by Ledger before his unsuspected death. Some people stick with this theory, because the total Box Office Domestic Total as of September Ninth, is a massive $512,829,031.00, compared to Batman Begin's total of $205,343,774. 00.

I think that all in all, this movie is awesome, and the Joker's role just adds on to it. If you ask me I would suggest that you see it. It will seriously blow your mind away.
