Christine

Christine Christine is a movie about a car possessed by an evil entity and happens to be bought by the school loser Arnie. Arnie Cunningham [Keith Gordon] is your classic nerd; big glasses bad hair, and low self esteem. The only thing he ha is a best friend named Dennis Guilder [John Stockwell] who is the star football player who gets hospitalized half way through.

Arnie starts of as - mentioned above - the classic loser with all-star friend; picked on and sort of left out. He car pools with Dennis - said jock friend - and simply stares at the girls he can't get. While driving home Arnie spots Christine an Autumn Red 1958 Plymouth Fury with a white top and a white streak. Her beauty hits him like a ton of bricks.

Christine - at first - is a real fixer upper, but Arnie manages, making her just like new. He meets the new girl Leigh Cabot [Alexandra Paul] and she gets involved in whats going to be the most terrifying adventure of her life... kinda - if she were in the movie more. Her character struggles for some action until the very end - although most of her scenes can be seen in the deleted scenes.

So to cut this short and to save you all from me complaining, Christine is a possessed car, Arnie buys her, fixes her up, car falls in love with her, he falls for Leigh, then for the car. A couple of not so intimidating bullies screw with the car and they get killed... Poorly might I add.

The acting in this movie is atrocious! Arnie's' parents are horrible - in many more ways than just their acting skills. And there are other things here and there such as Dennis' acting and Leigh's. The one who saves this movie is Arnie. His acting skills are truly incredible. He keeps you going through out the entire movie. And let's not forget to mention his good looks! They're a cross between wiL Francis and Brendon Urie; with a fashion sense that screams "HOT!"

It's Arnie that saves this rating of three out of four from going any lower. this movie is just a tad predictable having been made in 1983 but yeah Arnie ROCKS!

The movie is excellent for anyone who loves any Stephen King movie, or anyone who loves evil cars.
