New Star Trek Movie

The upcoming movie, Star Trek, comes out on May 8th, 2009. Be prepared. Zachary Quinto had to be to make this sci-fi film.

Quinto is sci-fi king with being Sylar, on Heroes, and Spock. He sat in the dresing room for three hours each day to have his silicone ears and other genetics put on.

The role of Spock wasn't easy for him to get. J.J. Abrams, director, wasn't convinced when he saw the tape of Quinto. But, when they met, Abrams knew he wanted Quinto. This was the same way when original Spock, Leonard Nimoy, and Quinto met. Nimoy atomatically wanted Zach.

Zach now has his own doll, poster, and everything! The doll is mainly for older collectors. The poster, in this case, is for all ages. Quinto is extremely excited about this.

The role of Spock, has a twist in the upcoiming movie. Nimoy is going to be in the movie also. It is supposed to revolve around flashbacks of when Spock and Captain James T.Kirk, Chris Pine, first met at Starfleet academy. So, this definetely means a change for Star Trek fans.

Abrams hopes that people who aren't fans will see it and enjoy it. "It isn't supposed to be just for fans. That is how it seems right now. But, it won't be confusing for people who aren't fans since the movie is flashbacks of the beginning." Abrams explains.

So, fan or not, you should get out of your seat on May 8th and go see Star Trek!
