A Walk To Remember

A Walk To Remember is the PG movie based off of the bestselling Nicholas Sparks novel.

It all starts off in a small town, Beaufort, North Carolina, with Landon Carter [played by Shane West], the school's local punk. Itching to get his high school years over with, he spends his time with his friends, breaking several laws along the way.

After an accident during the night of the school dance at the local water mill, Landon is forced to participate in "after school activities", so he isn't expelled. As he does his duties as a volunteer janitor and tutor at the underprivileged middle school, he comes across Jamie Sullivan [played by Mandy Moore], the minister's daughter and school outcast. He remembers Jamie from all their years at school together, but finally starts to see the real her.

During the year, many different things are thrown at the two. Hurt, embarrassment, and pain, both physical and mental that they've never dreamed of experiencing. But what can keep them together is hope, trust, goals, faith, and of course, unconditional love.

This movie truly does prove that love is always patient, kind, beautiful and gentle and it will never be boastful, conceited, rude, jealous and certainly never selfish...
