Zac Attack: 17 Again

Zac Attack: 17 Again It is known as "Zac Atttack" and for many teens and tweens it has been going on for years. First with the lifetime movies then the show Summerland, followed by the High School Musical movies series, all the way to the new DVD release "17 Again."

In this movie, Mathew Perry plays a middle-age man that wants to relive his glory days and change the way that his life is now. He is getting divorced and has two teenagers that hate him.

So what can help him get his wish? "A spirit guide", says his loser best friend. So after a freak accident and waking up to a 17 version of himself (played by Zac) he decides that a spirit guide is clear to blame. But wait what is that the spirit guide is guiding him to?

Oh, that is easy: to his old high school. He must relive his glory days and help his children from his dorky son that his being picked on by the basketball team to his daughter that his dating the ringleader of the bullies, He even has to find out a way to convince his wife that he stills love her and wouldn't change there life no matter what.

Well, like it easy to see he succeeds, but no without much strangeness. First, when it is time for Zac to enroll in school and has asked his best friend to pose as his illegitimate father, he comes on to the principal. As if the pick-up lines and odd gifts aren't enough, he actually wins her over by showing that he is major STAR WARS FAN.

The second one is that Zac's daughter start to become attracted to HIM. To bad he can't just tell her who he is. Instead he must dodge her kiss attempt and listen to her creepy role-playing ("I'm a dangerous lion..." ).

All in all, though, I rate this movie two and half stars in general but say that this movie is a must see for a good laugh.
