Michael Jackson's This Is It

Michael Jackson's This Is It Michael Jackson's This Is It movie is a look into what could have been if he was still alive today. "This documentary is compiled from an estimated 80 hours of rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage of the legendary entertainer preparing for his 50 sold-out shows at London's O2 Arena that were scheduled to commence in July 2009 before his untimely death in June at age 50. Interviews with collaborators and close friends of the late performer are also featured."

I went to go see this movie having no idea what to expect. I was excited because I grew up listening to Michael Jackson. Let me tell you, I was not let down by the movie.

During the movie they showed him practicing the numbers on different days. They would at time show Michael Jackson in different outfits but performing the same song. You could tell if they were at the beginning of putting the concert together or closer to the end. It was great to hear the song again.

They also showed what they recorded movie style wise to use during different songs. If anyone knows Michael Jackson's movie 'Moon Walker' then you would recognize some of the scene that they used for Smooth Criminal which was one out of a couple songs they remastered music video type videos for the concert. They also remastered Thriller.

I would tell anyone and everyone to go see this movie. You will be blown away by what could have been.
