Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Final Fantasy VII has been considered by many as a work of videogame art, and is one of the best games of all time. Gamers who played it had stuck until the end for a story-ride of their life. Because of its ever growing popularity, a compilation has been made for Final Fantasy VII, and a movie sequel is part of it.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a faithful movie sequel of the videogame. Being shown in the year 2005, Advent Children is a great eye-candy that tops most 3D movies in any way. What most movies lack, Advent Children has. The beauty is real enough to feel, the effects, the dust... Let's face it, Advent Children, in all manners, looks like a real-life movie, and beats most movies in terms of graphics. The real-looking effects are just tough enough to top. And of course, the movie is made by talented graphics developers.

Its soundtrack doesn't quite disappoint, either. Advent Children's tracks are basically remakes of some of the game's original and most popular tracks. The new versions are mostly orchestrated, and some additional instruments might be heard here and there.

Advent Children's story isn't as involving as the original. In fact, it really isn't that much original. The movie tries hard to remember its original game roots, and results in a sort of rehash of the original.

All in all, Advent Children is a nice sequel, and though it doesn't have an original story, the tale is worth hearing and watching.
