ATM

ATM is a new horror film starring Alice Eve, Josh Peck, and Brian Geraghty. Josh Peck plays Corey, an outgoing, hilarious, financial accountant. Brian Geraghty plays David, Corey’s tamer, less outgoing, best friend. Alice Eve plays Emily, Corey’s beautiful love interest. The film follows the three characters as they head home from an office Christmas party. When Corey wants to stop at the ATM, David is frustrated to say the least. Pretty soon, the three find themselves trapped inside the ATM, with a deadly man on the outside.

To put it simply, I loved this movie. The beginning was cute, funny, and a little bit romantic, and it lead straight into the action packed, mind boggling portion of the movie. Even though the film took place mainly in one small room, it was very interesting. The plot had a little bit of everything, and was suspenseful enough to hold my attention. It also didn’t have a lot of gore, which is one thing that I usually don’t like about horror films.

Josh Peck, who I knew for his role in the comedy television series, Drake and Josh, did an amazing job in this movie. It was nice to see him play the confident, outgoing one, instead of the shy, more reserved character, like he was in Drake and Josh.

Overall, this film was just fantastic. The acting was great, the characters were funny and relatable, and the plot was suspenseful and interesting. I would recommend this film to anyone who is a fan of horror movies like Elevator and Chernobyl Diaries.
