Cabin in the Woods

Cabin in the Woods is a new age horror film starring Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, and Jesse Williams. The film follows a group of five friends as they travel to a cousin’s cabin for a weekend getaway. The broken-down cabin proves to be home to many secrets, including a one-way window, a creepy cellar, and hidden rooms.

The friends’ getaway begins normally with swimming, drinking, and truth or dare, but that changes very quickly. Strange things begin happening at the cabin, and the friends must fight back if they hope to survive.

Cabin in the Woods takes horror to a whole new place that it has always needed to go. The plot is so compelling. You won’t be able to stop watching until you find out all of the secrets that the cabin holds. This film has the best story of any horror movie I’ve seen recently.

The characters are funny and charming, and each of the actors plays their part extremely well. Fran Kranz, who plays Marty, did an amazing job, and his character was my favorite by far. He was extremely funny, and the smartest character in the group.

Even though there were a few scenes of graphic nature, the film was pretty tame compared to most modern day scary movies.

I recommend this film to everyone, because it has an amazing plot, excellent acting, and a story you won’t soon forget.
