Warm Bodies

It's another story of boy-meets-girl, except for the fact that boy is part of the Living Dead and girl would kill him if she had a gun. The movie Warm Bodies is based off the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion, and it has already captured the attention of many movie-goers. It stars Nicholas Hoult as R, Teresa Palmer as Julie, and Dave Franco as Perry Kelvin.

Warm Bodies follows R, your not-so-typical thinking zombie, and Julie, your average girl who was swept up in the apocalypse. The two meet by an ambush where R, and his fellow Dead, attack Julie's group that is searching for medical supplies outside city limits. R unknowingly kills Perry, Julie's boyfriend, and when he sees the girl for the first time, it's love at first sight. R then takes Julie to his home, a 747 at an abandoned airport, and the two slowly get to know one another, R becoming slightly more human as time goes by. Soon, Julie and R are trying to prove that the Dead can be saved all the while trying to stay alive themselves.

This movie is perfect for just about anyone to see. It has action, romance, comedy, and not too much gore, a combination that is good for an outing with friends or even a special someone. I highly recommend this movie for everyone to see, especially to those who enjoyed the movie Zombieland.
