27 Dresses

27 dresses. Starring Katherine Heigl as Jane Nichols. When she was younger she attended a wedding, after accompanying her sister she sees the bride who has a wedding dress. She uses her sister’s ribbon to fix it. When she got older, she decided to work for arraigning weddings. Like a wedding planner. By helping other brides pick out their wedding cakes, gowns, themes they make Jane their bridesmaid. On the first few scenes when she was older. Jane attended two weddings at the same time. First she rode on the cab and told the driver that if he doesn’t peek she’d pay him 300 dollars. So there she goes, back and forth, back and forth.

Jane has a secret crush on her boss George (Edward Burns) but apparently her sistter Tess Nichols (Malin Akerman) is too. Jane also meets Kevin Doyle (James Marsden) a writer for the NY paper. When Kevin gets into Jane’s home she starts to model her dresses. Kevin asks, why she still has too keep all those. She said that it represents each marriage she’s been a bridesmaid to. Also the theme’s, some were gothic with studded accents, western, Asian countries like Japan. There’s even one under water. But then Kevin puts in on the New York paper and she loses her trust on him. With it, he also made an article about Jane’s sister.

At the middle of the movie, Tess gets married with George and asks Jane to do everything. Jane tells this to Kevin, and he tells Jane to speak up for herself and say no. but she cant despite Tess lying to Kevin.

At the night before the marriage Jane makes a small film about the truth to Tess’ lies. How she isn’t a vegetarian and how she dislikes animals. Then George cancels the wedding. The next day Tess tells Jane the reason why she lied. She wanted to be worth it for George. Tess also says that she wants to be more like Jane, successful.

At the end of the movie, she kisses George but realizes that she loves Kevin. She sells all her brides-maid wedding dresses and attends her own wedding, and there, the she had 27 bridesmaids who wore her 27 dresses.
