Narnia: Prince Caspian

Narnia: Prince Caspian The movie The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, was released only about a week ago. It tells a tale of the two kings and the two queens coming back to Narnia. When they arrive it is 1300 years later, and much is different. The movie goes through a series of battles against the new people that have taken over Narnia.

When the exiled child kings and queens are thrown back into Narnia (thanks to a sudden outbreak of special effects in a London tube station), they seem no longer to be in a children’s fantasy story but rather in some kind of Jacobean tragedy. In a dark castle in a dark forest, men with heavy armor and beard-shadowed faces quarrel and conspire. Instead of fauns and Turkish delight, there are murder and betrayal, and a grave, martial atmosphere lingers over the story, even when the spunky dwarfs and chatty rodents return.

So “Prince Caspian” is quite a bit darker than “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". It was way more exciting and way more fun to follow.

I thought this movie was an amazing watch. There was a lot of action and tons of major plots that we never knew were there. I would recommend that everyone go see this movie. Even if you aren't a kid, or you feel like you are too young. It was an amazing movie to me and I believe everyone will think so too.

The screen work was pretty cool as well. There were lots of special effects, like the first one, and they were just as good. They may have been even better. It isn't as cheesy as the first movie, Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The plot is more mature.

I hope everyone goes and sees it and has a wonderful time. You won't regret it!
