The Secret Life Of The American Teenager Season Premiere

The Secret Life Of The American Teenager Season Premiere With the flashbacks of the previous seasons playing, The Secret Life Of The American Teenager continues to be watched by tons of people across the country. Amy is now home with the baby and busier than ever learning how to be a teenager mother. She becomes even more aggravated with the discovery of her mother being pregnant. Even Mr. Jerkins knew about her pregnancy without her mother even telling him when he is talking with Mimzy. But the news spreads even quicker when Ricky comes over and overhears Amy and her mom talking about her baby on the way. That could create more competition between Ricky and Ben.

Ben is still not happy with the fact that Ricky is always over Amy's house, taking care of the baby and bringing the family of two food. Another fight between Amy and Ben ensues and Ricky comes only to stop it and have Ben leave with him. Amy seemed to not want Ricky to leave as much as Adrienne seemed to want her real father to leave her and her mom's condo. She sits in her room talking to Ricky and gets a call from Grace, who gives her the "great news" of her and Jack having sex later that night. Adrienne knows for a fact that Grace is definitely not ready to have sex and wants to stop them no matter what it takes.

Ben's dad is now back in the dating business as well. Remember Betty, the hooker that Grace's brother Tom invited over? She's now close to the position of becoming Ben's step-mother. His dad is convinced that he fell in love with her. While on their dinner date, Mr. Jerkins and Ashley walk into the restaurant to see them eating. Ashley tries to explain to her dad that Ben's dad is dating a hooker. He's more focused on David, Mrs. Jerkins' boyfriend, and telling him that she's pregnant while buying him a strong drink.

Getting back to Grace's first time; while her and Jack are making out on the couch, Adrienne ruins the night and Jack walks out. The girls get into a tiff as they try to sort out their friendship with each other. Adrienne leaves and later we see Grace on the phone with her mom. Grace's dad was heading to a third-world country on a private jet and her mother wanted her to talk things out with her dad from what happened last season. Of course she says no and hangs up, revealing that Jack is still in the room and they go after what they have been waiting for all night. As Adrienne went to leave Grace's house to head back home, Ricky beats her over there and has a very awkward talk with her father. She comes back and when he goes to leave, he leaves a mental note for her dad to chew on for a very long time.

When Mr. Jerkins and Ashley get back home to their house, Mrs. Jerkins is asleep at their table. She had just gotten off the phone with her boyfriend, who asked if she was pregnant. After a short fight between the two ex-spouses, Amy calls over to the house to have her mom put John to bed for her. She refuses with the reason that she's tired and her dad takes over the role, giving Mrs. Jerkins permission to sleep in his bed for the night and for whenever she wants to sleep in it.

Grace is now no longer a virgin. She is completely in love with Jack who makes his exit, but not before bumping into her mother and brother walking in crying. He thought it was because they found out that him and Grace had sex so he spills. But it wasn't for that reason. The jet that Grace's father was on had crashed and he had died. News spreads quickly and by the time it's morning, the whole circle of friends and enemies find out.

This opening is just a foreshadowing all of the drama that we are going to be faced with this season. With a baby on the way, too many fights breaking out, sex throughout the different households, and deaths occurring, it's only a wonder on what the writers can think about next. This clever and well-thought out plot line has grabbed the attention of millions that glue their eyes to the T.V. every Monday night at 8 P.M. to watch what will happen next in the lives of these high school teens. The best part of being a fan of this series is that this all can occur. This show is the closest to accurate as it gets to life, which should have the teenagers watching it with their parents so that the both of them can understand each other's lives through their own set of eyes.
