Teen Titans, The So Called Extinct Show

Teen Titans, The So Called Extinct Show You probably heard of Teen Titans, a really old show that still plays on Cartoon Network. It features Robin, Starfire, Raven, BeastBoy and Cyborg, the five superheroes who solve crimes and save the day. I'm a huge fan, actually, even if it is considered extinct by some of my friends. I've done a little research and I think that I just might know everything there is to know about this TV show.

First off, let me tell you the history of all the teen titans heroes. Let's start with Robin. Robin is a kid who works in the circus. His parents were acrobats too, but somebody cut the rope when they were doing the act. So they died, and Robin was adopted by Batman. While living with Batman, Robin learned martial arts. He later became an expert, and then he became the Titans leader. Robin's real name was Richard Grayson. Robin, like Batman, doesn't have a particular superpower. He is just awesome at martial arts, so that's his specialty.

Starfire is an alien from the planet Tamaran. Her real name was Koriand'r. Actually, Starfire was a princess. Starfire got captured by other aliens and brought to Earth as a slave. But she was able to break free, and then she met the Titans. Together, they fought off the other aliens and Starfire became an honorary member of the Titans. Since Starfire is an alien, she has the power to shoot bolts, lift heavy weights and shoot lazer beams from her eyes.

Raven was born in Azurath, another dimension (yes, Azurath from "Azurath Metrion Zinthos" ). Raven's name was Raven, but her Earth name was Rachel Roth. Raven can't control her powers, so she must meditate daily. Or else, her powers will go out of control and she might destroy the whole country. Raven is also part-demon. Raven's father is actually a very powerful villian named Trigon. Because of her demonic powers, she had a prophecy. Raven was meant to destroy the world someday. In fact, she did destroy the world, but you'll have to watch the episode to find out. Let me give you a hint: the episode's name is "The End" and it has 3 parts to it.

BeastBoy is actually the most normal Titan, even though he has the most abnormal powers. BeastBoy caught a disease called sakutia when her was 3 years old, when he was living in Africa. A strange green monkey bit him, and that nearly killed him. Luckily, his parents were scientists, and they found the cure. But he was left green. One day he managed to use his shape-shifting powers and he realized that he could turn into any animal he wished to be. BeastBoy's real name is Garfield Logan.

Cyborg is also pretty normal. One day Cyborg hot stuck in a terrible car accident and his mother died. Cyborg nearly died, too, but his father saved him by putting mechanical parts in him, and he ended up as part-robot. Cyborg's real name was Victor Stone.

Now that you know a little about the characters, it's time to tell you about pairings. In Teen Titans, there are specific pairings for those who like each other. For example, Starfire and Robin like each other a lot. So we consider that Robin-Starfire (we call it RobStar for short) have the strongest relationship. They openly say it in most of the episodes. There are other pairings like this, too. BBRae is another popular pairing. In many episodes, BeastBoy and Raven like each other. In one episode, Raven falls in love with a book, who turns into a man if opened. But BeastBoy is left feeling lonely. Raven comes back for BeastBoy at the very end.

That's a very BBRae-dependent episode. RobRae is one of the rather popular ones. BeastStar is also there, but you don't see it much. And don't forget Cyborg! CyStar and CyRae aren't interpreted in the episodes at all, but they are there. Cyborg is mostly put up with a Titan from another group of Teen Titans called Titans East. Her name is Bumble Bee. We call this relationship CyBee. My personal favorites are RobStar and BBRae.

There are tons of Teen Titans episodes, but my favorite would have to be The End (all parts). Teen Titans may be a pretty old show, but it is still awesome. If you aren't a Titans fan yet, try watching one of the shows. They're really funny, and at the same time, they get the point across. Keep in mind that every show focuses in on one or two people. There is never a show focusing on all the Titans at once. So if you feel like a specific character is shown too well, try a different episode. You'll probably see another character more often. Teen Titans rocks!! I totally and completely recommend the show.
