The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory The sitcoms have faded in the years. You can never find very good ones, and when you do, they seem to be back off air with the snap of your fingers. Everybody loved Roseanne. Everybody loved Friends, 8 Simple Rules, Will & Grace. But when they went off air, and we were left with almost nothing, that was actually funny anyways.

But I’ve rediscovered my love for sitcoms with this brand new show that has a kick-ass theme song. (Barenaked Ladies sing it.) With the previous star of the everlasting show, Roseanne, Johnny Galecki, (David) and the 8 Simple Rules star, Kayley Cucoco, (Bridget) and Jim Parsons, this show is absolutely hilarious.

Johnny Galecki plays the nerdy Leonard, who has a crush on the very preppy, not-so-smart Penny, (Kayley Cucoco) and Jim Parsons played the genius Sheldon, who doesn’t like Penny very much. Penny’s moved from her ex-boyfriend’s apartment to Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment building. There, they meet the first day they meet, and deems them a little dorky, and extremely smart.

Both men work as scientists in a nearby office, live together, and have basically no love life. In this show, the weirdest, most hilarious things happen. Like, when Penny decides she can beat Sheldon and Leonard at Halo, even though she’s never played. And one of Leonard and Sheldon’s best friends can’t speak in front of women.

I honestly think you’ll find yourself laughing throughout the whole show, even if you don’t understand half the scientific, eloquent terms used. And you can watch it Monday nights, at 8.30 pm eastern time.
