The New Adventures Of Old Christine

Valentine's Day is coming up. If you’re like me, you’re looking for something that’s making a mockery of love. Because, for me at least, right around this day, that’s all I could ask for. And, there’s not many shows/movies out there that make a mockery of love, is there?

But I have found one. And believe me, it makes you laugh. The New Adventures Of Old Christine, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, a divorced mother and owner of a woman’s gym. She’s got her best friend, there by her side, who’s played by Wanda Sykes, and she’s trying to find love again.

In the midst of it all, she’s trying to gain approval from the two stay-at-home moms who have kids that go to her son’s private school. Her husband is dating yet another Christine, (hence, the name of the show) and her brother is living at home with her.

If I haven’t captured your attention yet with this hilarious show, then what about the fact that she falls for her son’s teacher? Christine is a slightly crazy, slightly clumsy, all around goofy woman, just trying to make it by in today’s hectic world, meanwhile, mocking all of people’s ideas about love.
