He is presented to us as the church orphan who grew up thanks to his uncle’s help, Fea Kreuz, as a church orphan. When his uncle died, he was turned to a sklave, then to a star pupil in military. He is a talented and clever, as well as the wielder of the Eye of Mikhail.

Opening/Ending Themes

The opening theme is "Aka no Kakera" by Yuki Suzuki and the ending is "Hitomi no Kotae" by Noria. The song "Raggs no Chinkonka" by Noria is the insert song in the last five episodes and it’s really melancholic and addicting.

Review

It is a very intense, moving, and even sometimes dark anime. Though there is action in it, it's not the main focus because the plot is character driven and emotionally charged. There are scenes which will make you unable to move your eyes from the screen and you might even cry, like I did. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it till now, but I could watch it again and again without getting bored at all. Every time I watch it, it has the same effects on me.

The plotline is very interesting, mysterious and well-developed. The seriousness and the comedy of the plot are balanced nicely while the characters are all complex yet entertaining. It has qualities that appeal to both shounen and shoujo, and that’s one of the best combinations if you asked me.

I got to know the characters enough to like them, and I became invested enough to check out the manga. I hope you will do the same. Also, I can't wait for enough chapters to come out so that there can be a second season. I can only hope that there is more to come because I can honestly say that this story will suck you in, no matter if you are a girl or a boy, and it will leave you hoping for a second season. After watching all the twenty-five episodes, you will want to know how Teito's journey ends for sure. So, what are you waiting for? Go and check it out!
